‘Food Mile’ is the distance travelled by food from its site of production to the site of consumption. The greater the distance travelled by the food product, larger is the carbon footprint left behind. Zero Food Mile is a concept to reduce the distance travelled by food, and in effect minimize the stress on our environment.
