Andhra Pradesh Government to Develop Visakhapatnam as Tourist Hub

The Andhra Pradesh government is keen on developing Visakhapatnam as Tourist Hub. The picturesque and heritage-rich city is soon to be known as the tourist hub with its fast developing infrastructure to leverage the whole process. The state government had already started work to develop beaches between Bheemili and Visakhapatnam at a cost of Rs 50 crore, which will be completed soon. A leisure night package tour bus was also launched by the state tourism development corporation. The bus covers places like Submarine Museum, Rishikonda, Kailasagiri Hill and Shilparamam Jatara in the city.

The district has a number of natural beaches and is also rich in culture and heritage. It also has Buddhist centres, the picturesque Araku valley, Borra caves and Erramatti Dibbalu (red sand dunes) which could be developed as tourists places.

After developing Visakhapatnam as Tourist hub, it would have all the potential to be developed like Singapore. Here is hoping and wishing that the port city becomes a well-known and most preferred tourist spot attracting  national as well as international tourists alike thus making Visakhapatnam as Tourist hub of Andhra Pradesh.
