Rebuilding of Vizag to Make it a Favoured Destination

The CM congratulated Vizag city people for overcoming from the major devastation left by Cyclone Hudhud and assured them of rebuilding of Vizag in an ultra-modern way that it will soon become the favored destination for the investors as well as employees. After participating in a tree plantation programme launched by the district administration, the CM said it is his responsibility to develop Visakhapatnam as a beautiful city. It will become a smart city in future he assured.

After the launching of the “Rejuvenating Vizag”, the CM sought Vizag people cooperation in making it the most favored destination.The government will develop the city’s beaches to attract domestic and international tourists and also give importance to development here, he said, adding a green field airport on the lines of the Hyderabad airport will also be developed here. The rebuilding of Vizag has now become a priority.

CBN informed that rebuilding of Vizag to make it more resilient and cyclone proof so that the city will bounce back after hours of being hit by a cyclone emphasizing on the underground power cables and telephone service ducts and on cyclone resilience infrastructure. Let us hope that after the rebuilding process, we would get to see a changed and rejuvenated Vizag which would be a model to the other states in India.
